Well, we have made it through 3 years. A lot has changed in them three years. We started on 15th Sept 2009. We have came along way and we know we have a lot further to go. Starting a business at the begining of a recession was tough, we are still here though thanks to you - our customers. We have made a lot of friends along the way and had many many conversations about your signs - easily in the thousands (one plate took over 100 e-mails back and forth), to make sure that you have the best plate, the sign that you want, not the one that is easiest or cheapest for us to make. One that is unique and special. We spend the time and make the effort so that your plaque is exactly as you would like it.
We plan to keep our high standards going, and continue to maintain our great customer orientated service. We remain as one of the few out there to offer free postage, even though the postage costs have increased twice this year - three times the last year, we have so far managed to absorb this by getting better at what we do, being more efficient and sourcing our materials carefully. Please have a quick look at our recent feedback on our guestbook to get a glimpse of what our customers say about us.
Every plate that we make is made by hand. A lot of effort to perfect each one goes into them. We love making signs for your horses, and more recently doggies and a few yard/house and bedroom door signs along the way. Each and every sign is unique as they are hand made, tiny imperfections on the surface caused when we burn each one, makes them all different. As do the many custom made (commissions) signs that we have made this year alone.
Thank you to all of our customers for making us who we are today. Without your support and encouragement, especially through our Facebook page, we would not be any where near where we are today.
We also held a mini comp to win a plate designed by us (at the moment, it is made and under wraps, as it is a surprise, but it will be revealed in a day or so). We asked our Facebook fans, to guess how many sweeties were in the jar. The answer was 414 and one of our fans was only 2 away, after picking a random number :) Thank you to all who entered this competition. A little horsey themed pic using some of the sweeties - we had started eating them by this point (there are 329 in this pic - saves you counting them lol)
Thank you very much for being part of WoodaDoodle's story so far.
