Update of Policy - cookies

update of cookie policy as per EU regulations coming into force. It is a fairly lenghty update. It revolves around making a visitor aware that our site uses cookies (as does most other sites) and that you must opt in to use them (at this moment in time there is no way for us to see that you have acknowledge this and have opted in).

None of the cookies used in this site stored information personally identifiable to you. The majority revolve around background analysis of the site to improve it - such as google analytics, number of page views, where a visitor comes from (country).

Information required by us such as name, address, horse name etc are required to use this site in the normal way and as such are not incuded in the this EU regulation, as they are required to complete the sale and are clearly obvious that they must be entered to purchase a product.

The legislation targets cookies that are 'hidden' from obvious view, such as advertising scroll bars (which we do not use) e.g. if you were shopping for say a hair drier on ebay, and then you came to our site and we had a advertising scroll bar (which we don't) then a hairdrier would be seen in the advert as you had previously searched for this on another site. This is what the EU things is aimed at, to make users aware that cookies are operating on your computer and may store things that can be used by another site accessig the cookie to display, in this case a hairdrier.
