Our custom design page, a great new feature to our website.

This beautiful piece of wood will be emblazoned with your horses name and a design that you will have full input in. We do not charge for the design of a custom plate - the price is a reflection of the complexity and time required to physically make it.

Below is a description of how our custom made plates a designed;

• After the initial enquiry there will be some to and fro-ing between us via e-mail where we will share our ideas of how you would like you plate(s) to look.
• I will then draw out on paper how it could look based on what we discuss in our e-mails.
• I will send a copy of the drawing(s) to you with a description of how it will look once finished.
• You will have the chance to comment, add and delete anything that you wish.
• Once the design has been completed and you approve of it i will add the price of the plate to the shop so that you can purchase it. 
• Your plate will then be made.
• The price is depended on the level of detail, which means the length of time and materials needed to make the plate (not the actual design process which may take several days). Once the price is agreed upon you can purchase the plate and then it can be made.
• As with all of our plates you will be kept up to date of the progres; intial confirmation of payment; when your plate is getting made; a photograph of how the plate looks once the deisgn is burned onto the wood; an expected delivery date and finally a date when it is put in the post so that you have a better idea of when to expect the postman to deliver.

 

Your plate is finished using yacht varnish (4 coats) and then sanded smooth. This will produce a very clean and clear finish and will protect your sign from the elements, whether your horse is stabled in or outdoors. This product comes with pre-drilled holes and a set of two screws for your comvenience.
